Paoletti Guitars is introducing five Limited Edition guitars of a faithful replica to Terry Reid’s original ’52 tele

Terry Reid, together with Paoletti Guitars developed a brass block on the back of the guitar, which offers a unique tone and an incredible sustain power.  All five instruments are hand-serialized and signed by Terry himself. Each comes with a hard case that is like the original, accessories, and a book “5 Stories from Terry Reid’s Career” with exclusive pictures and personal tales about Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Aretha.Franklin.

The project, in the words from Terry Reid himself, “My Relationship with Paoletti grows every day. Their ideas and craftsmanship are better than anything I have come across. Just recently, they contacted me on the idea to make a Limited Edition of a first run of five guitars made in the mold my telecaster I had for so many years. I am shocked to see it and I can’t wait to show it to Joe Bonamassa who has my original tele!  These unique five guitars, handcrafted to the original are amazingly the same, plus some extra features I learned over the years.”

Terry Reid is regarded as one of the finest vocalists Britain has ever produced, as well as an impressive guitarist and songwriting talent.  He turned down the front man’s job with Led Zeppelin, recommending his mate Robert Plant instead, a similar offer and rebuff to Deep Purple. He underwent two World Tours with The Rolling Stones, US tours with Cream, UK tours with Jethro Tull and Fleetwood Mac, The Isle of White Festival in 1969 and Glastonbury in 1970. His career includes numerous collaborations with Graham Nash, covers of his songs by Marianne Faithfull, The Hollies, The Raconteurs (the hugely popular ‘Rich Kid Blues’), film soundtracks, session work for the likes of Don Henley, Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne, and a catalogue of six studio albums.
